Presented by Jolene Del Re, Director of Curriculum at Idaho Digital Learning Alliance; Colleen Sandquist, Strategic Partner Manager at Readspeaker; and Ginger Dewey, Educational Development Manager at Readspeaker
In today’s evolving educational landscape, learner agency is no longer a luxury — it’s a necessity. As students navigate increasingly flexible, technology-rich learning environments, their ability to take ownership of their learning experience directly impacts engagement, persistence, and success.
In this session, Quality Matters, ReadSpeaker along with Jolene Del Re, the Director of Curriculum from IDLA partner to explore how thoughtfully designed, accessible course experiences can foster greater learner agency. We'll examine the role of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), text-to-speech technology, and QM Standards in creating equitable opportunities for students to make choices, set goals, and direct their own educational journeys. Empower all learners — regardless of ability or background — to thrive!
