Lifesavers!: Becoming A Successful Online Student - Virtual Online
Did you know an online program demands the same focus and motivation as is required in a traditional classroom setting?
Online courses can present challenges if you’re not prepared. This Lifesavers! presentation will determine skills for effective online learning and offer some tips to make sure you get the most value out of your next online class.
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Differentiate the pros and cons of being an online student.
- Restate the strategies required to be a successful online student.
- Give examples of how to apply the stated strategies to their online education.

Certificates
Certificates are awarded based on the sign-in sheets presented at the end of each session, or on the participant information provided in the virtual session. Lifesavers instructors will issue certificates within 24 hours of the session. To ensure your certificate is sent to the correct student, please make sure to provide your first and last name as well as your LSCO email address.
